Q: Hello.
Does it works also as SMTP server?
If I have my own email system, like Mautic or Go High Level, can I just use your software to fast deliver my email to my lists, using my server dedicated IP?
If yes, how much does it take to send out 30K emails?
Thanks

To answer your question on sending over your own dedicated IP with the platform, here's how it works:
First, you can get a server and ip allocation from a hosting provider who allows email marketing from their network.
You can install our MTA on that server, and it will allow you to send mail over the IP addresses on that server.
30K emails can be delivered from 1 IP no problem, however when starting out on your own IP it's very similar to using a dedicated IP
with an ESP.
As long as your hosting provider gives you a clean IP with no sending history, your IP will start out with no reputation with the mailbox providers such as
gmail, yahoo, etc.
You have to do a long and slow warmup to establish a sending history, it's not at all uncommon for people to just send something like 5 to 20 emails slowly for the first day(s) on gmail to their most engaged contacts and their friends/co-workers/family as way of introducing themselves as a new sender.
You mentioned your list is high quality and you're sending wanted email, so the warmup process should go smoothly for you.
You can monitor your sending reputation with gmail using Google Postmaster Tools. When you add your domain to Postmaster Tools, Google will show you the
reputation of both your sending domain and your IP addresses, however it takes consistent sending and reaching enough volume before they start showing you any information, might take two weeks. The data is always spotty and inconsistent in terms of how much they show you and how often, but it does give you the best insight into how your sender reputation is likely being perceived by most mailbox providers.
Within a month or so you should be able to send your entire 30,000 contact list in one campaign, and it will be mostly delivered pretty much instantly, there's always some level of gray-listing where the mailbox providers send back a "please retry again later" to the MTA so you wont hit 100% delivery in a minute but you should get close.
The MTA requires some DevOps-ish skills to setup, it's the only part of our platform that needs to be made a lot more user friendly, but it is fully documented, parts of it are just kind of old school - we are going to improve this and also make a video series eventually, we were testing the interest here and people are definitely responding and there are many who would like to be able to use it who don't have prior experience with being a postmaster or using an MTA.
We have an API and you can post your contacts in from other systems and run automations on them but I'm not sure exactly how you would want to use it with Mautic or High Level specifically.
I second this, i like to use smtp to deliver e-mail and not use your front end. For cold e-mail prospecting. Can your sysem allow smtp access to deliver?

It can, but I don't think it will do it the way you're picturing, we've been discouraging cold emailers, this is also in our new FAQ for sumo-lings:

Ian I'm not talking about COLD EMAILING, I've a 30K email list with a strong relationship. They subscribed to get my weekly newsletters and offers. So please, review my question and help decide. Thanks.

I apologize for the poor formatting of my replies, but AppSumo is making changes to their UI this week which requires me to write the message in a notepad editor, then paste it into a tiny box where it's being reformatted.
