A Gem on Appsumo
There are a lot of apps on AppSumo, but this one has definitely made it onto my favorites list.
The quality is excellent, the support is great, everything works smoothly, and the team keeps improving the product.
That is especially important to me, because I have seen many promising tools start strong and then fade away.
But the team behind Emailit continues to develop and improve it.
Big thanks for creating this gem!
Best regards,
Roland

Works very well, great support, has improved a lot. Just need some UX improvements to be perfect
I had bought Emailit a couple months ago for transactional emails. It already worked great and now it has improved a lot with the new APIv2, improved documentation, webhooks, templates and inbound emails.
The only issues I had were when I faced some security protections and the support was super fast and helpful and unblocked me in the hour.
When I bought Emailit, my most requested feature was templates as it's so much easier to choose a template and a couple variables than send the all html code of your email through the API. Now they've done 95% of the work: templates are there, you can design them from scratch or from a model... but you can't duplicate them. It makes it basically unusable for me at this point because you have to repeat the whole creation process for each new template instead of just duplicating and adapting one design. They've done all the hard work so I guess they will cross the finish line anytime soon.
I made a couple feature requests like this for UX improvements. It's already a solid product with all the core functionality built in and it will be perfect once they make it all a little bit easier to use.

Mar 26, 2026Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback! We have just deployed the duplicate template based on it!
You can duplicate a template from the table, profile, or specific version.

Simple email sending
I bought emailit to connect an app I am working on to send transactional emails and notifications through. Super simple to setup — I had to reach out for support to verify the domain ... a process that could have had a bit more explanation while doing it. Support was pretty quick to respond and request additional verification information. Once the domain was verified, I was able to quickly make and connect an API to my app and get it sending through emailit.com. Very pleased it went as smoothly as it did. I previously used AWS Simple sending ... that isn't exactly simple to setup ... emailit was simple. I don't plan on using this for marketing at this point so haven't explored those options. George was quick with support which is also appreciated.

Moved from Mailgun to Emailit, so far so good...
Moved from Mailgun to Emailit, so far so good... Onboarding was spot on and of course there's going to be a few instances where emails will fall into spam folders. I sent a test email to a Gmail account, it went through to the inbox, I sent a test email to a Yahoo email address, and it landed in the SPAM folder. I verified both emails though in the verify emails and the result said safe for the Yahoo email but unfortunately it didn't make it to the inbox. We'll have to alert subscribers somehow to get them to check their SPAM when a campaign email is sent out, maybe create a pop window giving them a heads up to check their SPAM and to mark the sender as safe for future emails.
No complaints yet and hopefully none going forward but if there's anything that helps to always land emails in the Inbox, enlighten us with that knowledge. Otherwise, it's a very good switch thus far and recommend it if you are looking for an SMTP host. Cheers

Mar 25, 2026Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback! Happy to hear that the migration from Mailgun to Emailit was smooth.
Delivery rates are in the long run, especially after changing platforms. The best thing to do is to consistently send to the top engaging subscribers, or focus on transactional emails first, until it gets stable and you build some sending domain history/reputation.
Afterwards, all you...
