I bought a top-tier Encharge license through AppSumo in 2021. David and I are brothers and co-founders in everything we do - we used the product so often that we became power users. In time, we built most of our companies using Encharge for email marketing -> when we sold them, the new acquirers became Encharge customers. Then, from paid MRR subscribers, we became acquirers. 

I know, possibly shady - why would you trust new owners doing a new AppSumo deal? I know I myself would be skeptical.

• Encharge was a “wishing upon a star” sort of company for me to acquire and run. When you get to run a company you wished for a long time, you wanna do your best.  Amongst other reasons, it’s a dream because: 
  • Great customers (B2B and online business owners, such as myself) 
  • Long-term pays off with this kind of company (infrastructure tool)
  • Pair that with the community we run (see in a sec)
  • And we’ve got a great cocktail for long-term
• We run Reddit SaaS, with 250k+ people. I’ve taken care of the community from a few thousands to quarter of a million members today. It’s a top 1% community in terms of size on Reddit. 
• This isn’t the first company I acquired. Feel free to use wayback machine to confirm how we’ve turned around the companies we acquired, I’ll let the results speak for themselves. Besides, I’ve both bought and sold companies. Matter of fact, the others co-owners of Encharge are the very people that acquired our first company. Hope that tells something about trust and honor! 
• We’re working with the founders on Encharge for this campaign. If someone is able to not only leave their baby in your care (them exiting with us), but also work even afterwards - that says something, I believe.

💳 What about 2021 buyers?

As I said, I want to give 2021 buyers even more bang for their buck - in exchange for them spreading the word about Encharge :) 

As a past buyer from 2021:

• You can upgrade to the 2025 plans
• Some perks are removed, since these new plans are mapped to the current Growth plan (visible on our pricing page). BUT, only for 2021 buyers, if you encounter any new limitation (see below comparison), simply reach out to support@encharge.io and ** we’ll re-enable your old limits. **
• I don’t think all companies have done that in the past :) 
• My advice? Keep/upgrade your 2021 plan — but buy 2025 plans as well to stack. You’re getting Enterprise-level software for a one-off fee. Buy it before it goes away 🔥
• Think about the future (not just existing businesses you’ll start when buying plans :)
• What’s different about 2025 vs 2021 AppSumo plans: 
  • Prices are now higher (gotta be transparent and honest): server costs are up + product has improved MASSIVELY
  • New top tier for 50k subscribers
  • No Hubspot integration (this is crazy expensive for us to offer on LTD and wanted to provide more value to the deal in other areas)
  • WooCommerce integration on the top plan

RE: the long term stability of the company. We've got SOLID 5-figure MRR, with ~half of that as profit margin. That's without taking into account our services part of the business 😃, which of course contributes to our longevity. Team size is around 8 carefully-selected people (a small, but mighty team).

🌎 What’s Next?

Encharge is already very powerful but… with great power, comes great responsibility (to help your users figure it out). 

• We’ve heard our users. The “path to value” needs to be shortened. We want Encharge to pay for itself FASTER. Meaning: you make back the $ you paid for it in an even shorter period of time
• Encharge needs to be clearer and even easier to use. AI will help us here too. It’s normal for the cycles of a product to be: not that powerful, but simple → more powerful, but not that simple (we’re here) → elegantly powerful and elegantly simple (we’re heading there, with your help)
• More integrations. An integration with a new CRM can mean 10x more power for certain users. 2 integrations… that could mean 20x more power (and even more). And so on.

I’ll be honest even though it’s not in my favour to say this: I don’t want to overcommit to stuff we may/may not want (or be able) to build in a few years time. As transparent as it could get. But we. will. make this. more powerful. One way or another, for you. 

So join now, or cry for eternity for missing out 😵‍💫.

To conclude: if you get in, you’re getting an Enterprise-level product. Without paying 5 figures per year. At a one-off fee.
