Disappointed with Encharge – Not Suitable for Serious Email Marketing

Our experience with Encharge has been frustrating and unproductive. The support system relies heavily on AI-generated responses, which often miss the mark entirely. It took five separate attempts just to receive a relevant reply—an unacceptable delay when your business depends on timely and effective email communication.

The platform appears to be responsive only during promotional or sales periods, leaving users without adequate support when it's most needed. More concerning is their rigid and unclear policy enforcement: even when emailing contacts who have publicly and explicitly consented to communication, Encharge may still flag your campaigns as violations. They do not seem to distinguish between cold emails and legitimate outreach to opted-in recipients [GDPR/unsubscribe options].

Worse, they may freeze your account and demand detailed business disclosures, which can be particularly burdensome especically when a bootstrapped startups starts policing. This level of scrutiny, paired with inconsistent support and unclear guidelines, makes it difficult to operate confidently on the platform.

If your business relies on email marketing, I would strongly advise exploring more transparent and responsive alternatives.

Hey there!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, even if it’s not the kind we hope for.
We agree that support powered by AI can occasionally miss the mark, and we’re actively improving that. When something’s time-sensitive, that kind of friction is understandably frustrating.

That said, we do want to address the core of your concerns.
Encharge is built to protect deliverability at scale, and that means we follow strict policies around what types of contact lists are allowed. We only permit sending to contacts who have explicitly opted in to receive emails from you - and we take that line seriously, even if the contacts were sourced from public directories or appear to be “legitimate” in other ways.

When accounts are flagged, we sometimes request proof of opt-in - not detailed business disclosures, as described. A screenshot of your signup form or a checkbox showing consent is usually all that’s needed.

We know these standards may not suit every workflow, and that’s okay. But we’re committed to upholding them - because it’s what keeps deliverability high for the entire community.
If your business is built around sending to clean, permission-based lists, we believe Encharge is one of the most capable automation tools you can get — especially at a lifetime price.

Wishing you all the best moving forward!
