I have started working on the software and love the time it takes to review a complete set of QBO books. I think the following updates will make this a go-to software for new account development and accurate pricing for our clients.
1. Would love to see a numerical summary of COA's by account types in the summary report. ie, the number of bank accounts, credit cards, expenses accounts, etc.
2. A list of COA's mis-match would be awesome. ie, bank account type created for an expense account. Very common mistake in the COA's. I understand that the name they use for the new account is subjective but if it matches or is a partially matches an expense account name that can be flagged for further review. If it's listed on the summary report then we can tell just by reading it if it's an expense account or not.
3. White label the reports with our own company name and logos and the name that prints at the bottom of each page so we don't have to transfer the report to another form with our letterhead for our clients.
4. A statement request list by account type. Since you can read the last recon date then creating a list of missing statements needed for that account type from the last recon date to the date of the report would be a real time saver. Again if it's white labeled then we can just supply our client's with the report in order to request the documents that we need.
All in all, this was exactly what I was looking for so I'm going to use it and hope that the software will continue to advance into a staple product in our industry!
Simply amazing. Made reconsilation a breeze. Just too good to be this easy. I used to pay my QuickBooks bookkeeper to balance my account every month. Best part about it is that when you need help with the software they respond immediately. Priceless
