Anyway, globalization is a thing nowadays so I requested SMS for my instance. You can always disable sending SMS by their "prefix" or country code right? This is to avoid unnecessary charges to your recurring telco provider.

Can't it just be turned ON by DEFAULT? Then restrict the sending to ONLY US/CA mobile numbers.

Globalization is REAL, so I think my suggestion above is FAIR. My SMS features were RESTRICTED when I finished signed up and took a look at my current limits, I cannot find 8000 sms per month!

Many of us here don't live in US/CA but have hundreds of clients there :) Hope this is something to be fixed.

Yes, it's possible to activate the number outside the US and use it to send SMS to your US-based clients. Can you please jump into our messenger, just trying to figure out that problem?
