Larry here – the founder of eurekaa.io. Excited to share our product with the AppSumo community!
Eurekaa was born out of frustration in determining the market for online courses and content. In researching what topics were popular across multiple platforms - not just one - I discovered this was an incredibly time-consuming manual process. I had to do a ton of internet searches to find all the courses, then collect and categorize all the data by pasting it into spreadsheets to compare them, and THEN filtering to sort for ranking by enrollments, reviews, and estimated revenues.
I couldn't believe there wasn't some macro-analytics tool where comparative topic data existed outside of the actual platforms that hosted the content. Hence, I created Eurekaa to solve my problem.
And It looks like I was proxy for many others. Eurekaa is now being used by new course creators, writers, consultants, and even some teaching organizations to validate or iterate content that's in demand.
KNOW this, creating happens to the degree you can reduce uncertainty or increase your confidence in what is yet to be created.
Eurekaa helps you do both.
Our roadmap includes more course content data points, including cohort-based and higher-Ed MOOCs. Currently, Eurekaa has course data from Udemy, Coursera, Skillshare, Lynda, CreativeLive, Allison, Udacity, and Lurn, and we just added all the course data from Teachable's learning marketplace Spotlight. We also recently released a new Book Search feature, offering searchable metadata from over 40 million books.
Eurekaa is young so there is more to come, and user feedback is welcome.
