Stacked Codes for Nothing: Video Hosting and Workspaces Not as Advertised
I would like to express my strong dissatisfaction with my experience regarding your AppSumo offer.
When I made my purchase, the AppSumo page clearly indicated that certain features would be available when stacking 3 codes, specifically:
Video hosting
Multiple workspaces
This was the main reason I decided to buy additional codes.
However, over the past two days I have received completely contradictory information from your support:
First, I was told that I needed 3 codes in order to get video hosting, which matched exactly what was written on the AppSumo page.
Then, I was told that video hosting is actually not included in the AppSumo deal at all, and that only a 30-day free trial is available.
A similar problem exists with workspaces: even after stacking multiple codes, I still only have access to a single workspace, although the offer presented it as if more workspaces would be unlocked with additional codes.
In practice, this means:
I purchased extra codes specifically because of the promised features (video hosting and multiple workspaces).
After purchasing, I was informed that these features are not actually included.
The message from support changed several times, which has caused confusion, wasted my time, and made the whole experience very frustrating.
This kind of contradictory communication, combined with a clear gap between what was advertised and what is actually delivered, is extremely disappointing. It seriously undermines my trust in the product and in the AppSumo offer as a whole.
Given this situation:
I consider that I bought the additional codes based on incorrect or misleading information.
I will therefore follow your advice and request a refund from AppSumo for the extra codes.
It is unfortunate that it has come to this, because I was willing to invest more in your tool. However, the inconsistent information, the features that were advertised and then denied, and the lack of a clear and fair solution have made this experience very unsatisfactory.

Nov 25, 2025Hi abid67. I’m really sorry for the confusion. You’re absolutely right that you received mixed messages, and that’s on me. Here’s what happened:
A few months ago, when the first draft of this AppSumo page was created, Eurekaa was part of a special enterprise cloud program that gave us a large amount of free media storage and streaming which I wanted to pass along to AS users to include native video hosting in the stacked tiers as it was economically possible. Those credits have since expired as we switched cloud providers. When I was invited back into this year’s BF cohort, I updated the copy but didn’t re-check the old stacking tiers. That’s the root of the hosting confusion.
Video hosting today:
Native hosting is not included in the AppSumo plan because the real cost of storage and streaming makes it unsustainable for a lifetime deal. Rapid Publisher still works perfectly with YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, and other external links for free.
Workspaces:
You can stack codes to create multiple accounts for team members, that part is supported. What isn’t included is unlocking additional internal workspaces inside a single account. The original page language wasn’t clear enough on that distinction, and that caused unnecessary confusion.
You’re right to request a refund if you bought extra codes specifically for native hosting or for workspace expansion inside one account. AppSumo will handle that quickly, and I fully support it.
