Q: I am currently using EventOn for one of my clients websites.
(https://brsskiandtours.com) and essentially the sell tours and ski trips.
What makes this a unique use case is the fact that they have pickup locations and other options that need to be chosen and reported on, and sometimes that adjusts pricing.
Currently we use WooCommerce variations, and that works OK, but is a pain to setup and manage.
Here is what we need, will this work for us?
1. Events that can have dates added/removed to it (So for example, create a recurring event, where you can set the dates individually, instead of on some kind of pattern? So not "every monday of the week" or "the 30th of every month" but set specific dates manually: 5/9, 5/10, 6/1, 6/3, 6/27, etc.)
2. Views similar to that on the Tours page currently (event list by date order)
3. Ability to have options to checkout (I see on your site that is coming, but does the plugin work with WooCommerce variations?)
4. When you add addons, will they be able to be setup with conditionals (ie, if someone chooses an option with a meal, they can see the meal options, but if they do not, they wont see them)
4. App for QR code checking
5. Duplicate events

Thanks for your query. Here's a detailed response regarding your queries.
1. You can edit fields like date, time, price etc. after the recurrences are created. So, you will have the flexibility to adjust the date and time.

If you have any special layout requests, you may add the feature request to our roadmap from here: https://themewinter.com/eventin-roadmaps/#ideas. Our team will try their best to add the design when possible.
3. You can checkout using WooCommerce with our plugin. We use a separate custom post type for handling events. So, WooCommerce variation will not work with our Events. But we have a separate ticket variation option that allows you to add different ticket price variations for each events.
4. You may upvote the feature “Sell Extra Services/Meals/Swags With Event” on the “In Discussion” column from our roadmap: https://themewinter.com/eventin-roadmaps. Also add the requirement of the conditional field in the feature's comment section, so that other clients can upvote and our developer team can be concerned about your specific requirement while implementing the feature.
5. You don’t need any specific app for QR code scanner. You can scan the QR code from the WordPress admin dashboard or any third party QR code scanner app. After scanning, all the further actions will be handled automatically.
6. Event duplication is not supported till now as there are a number of meta fields connected with the purchase information.
