Q: would love an integration with Vectera (a former appsumo deal) is that being planned?
thanks

May 15, 2024A: Hey Esumoling,
The difference between the two is that a webhook fires immediately when an event or transaction occurs on the Kajabi platform. An API usually involves a script that runs on a cron (schedule) that connects to Kajabi and asks, “hey are there any new orders?” Then it waits to receive an answer.
Our current connection with Kajabi works so well, we don’t have immediate plans to create a different approach (that wouldn’t be as real-time as the current approach).

You and me both, Esumoling!
We are working with Vectera to see if we can get webhooks sent to Evidence when a meeting is scheduled. In the meantime, Vectera does send a confirmation email containing the information of the person who scheduled a meeting.
For the time being, the only option is to parse that email using Parsey (full-disclosure: that’s another tool we built) and have Parsey send a webhook to Evidence.
We’ll let you know when we have a more direct connection with Vectera. It’s toward the top of our integration list.

thx.
any integration planned with kajabi? if so whats an expected schedule?
So glad you asked. We already have customers connecting Kajabi to Evidence. Here’s an article showing you how to install your pixel in Kajabi, as well as send Kajabi webhooks to Evidence:

Check it out and let us know if you need any assistance during the setup process.

sweet. thanks; how's that different than a native integration? that would make the same thing without webhooks? (which is good, because kajabi allows 1 webhook per form. i think more on orders though). is there a kajabi integration coming up?
