You can certainly do that! Do make sure you use the upgrade/downgrade functionality on your AppSumo dashboard, rather than purchasing new "codes".

Just be aware that you can only upgrade as long as this deal is still live. AppSumo refuses to make this important point clearer on the product page itself and hides it instead in a help article you have to actively search for. I talked to AppSumos "support" about this (they took a whole week to send a copy & paste answer …). Downgrade is possible for 60 days after purchase date.

Thanks for adding, that IS an important note. Upgrades can only be done while the deal is live. Of course, refunds can be done for 60 days, though I wasn't aware you could do downgrades during the 60 day window too. Good to know!
