Q: I currently use the following plugins for my clients' site performance: - WP Rocket.

As you know, it does way more than just caching. One of the greatest features are to preload the page cache so they load basically instantly. This works well, although even after some fixes I still have the feeling it doesn't always preload ALL the pages. Does your performance plugin have this? And does it work reliably? WP Rocket cache is fantastic, I've chosen for them years ago because I compared them with (also premium and free) alternatives, they were the fastest. Is your cache already this good? And do you have specific settings for e-commerce stores as well?
- Asset CleanUp PRO. I already read you have the ability to disable stuff on a per page and sitewide basis. Correct? So I wouldn't need this anymore either? How about all the other features and things that can be deactivated to keep the site weight down, various optimisations.
- PerfMatters. Same here, this plugin has a ton of easy configurations that are the typical WP optimisations. Does your performance plugin have these? Perhaps not all, but you'll keep improving?
- Imagify: obviously your plugin is a replacement for this.
- CloudwaysCDN: haven't really been very satisfied with their CDN, I often noticed more latency than without it actually. I've never found a CDN that's made my site faster... Really hope that you'll finally be the solution I'm looking for. Especially since this is a lifetime deal, you'll save me crazy amounts of money every single year being able to use your BunnyCDN integration for all my clients!!

I love your vision to become an all-in-one optimisation plugin. Can you elaborate a bit on this?

Thanks in advance for your quick response which I've noticed is the case. :)

Cheers

A: Hi SenneTr!
--Indeed, WP Rocket is much more than a caching plugin, and so is our site performance plugin: SWIS Performance :)
We do have a cache preloader and it uses the same async process that we've used for years in the EWWW IO plugin. This means 2 things:
1. We know there are ways async operations can break.
2. We can detect most of those and work around them, or let you know what the problem is.
The preloader runs based on your sitemap, so if your sitemap is missing stuff, then so will the preloader. If you want to double-check things, feel free to hit our support email for more detail on that. I've tested the raw performance of both caching engines on my local dev site, which takes a lot of variance out of the picture. In my tests, the SWIS cache loads a page in around 7ms, WP Rocket in 5ms. So they are both stupid fast :)

--ACP - yes, we do let you disable things per-page or site-wide. Without going through their entire feature list, I'll say that if there is something ACP does that you don't see in SWIS, we're always open to feedback: https://feedback.ewww.io

--PerfMatters - ditto, if there's something that can make your site faster, and we're not doing it yet, just ask!

CDNs are difficult to get proper tests from speed sites like GTmetrix or Google's PSI. The problem is that they have to fetch resources from your original server, and that process is always slower than just grabbing it from the origin. And not just once, but for every edge node for the location where the tests are running. I did a whole video about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm0t0SpCquY
We have multiple layers of caching to help make sure it's as fast as possible. But ultimately, if it's not speeding up your site, then just compress your images locally, don't use the CDN, and we can still be friends :)

And then you had to go ask for my vision! So here's my take... if there is something we can do to help you make your site faster, we're going to do what we can to make it happen, because these tools are exactly what we use on our own sites to make them fast.
We're all about helping folks make their sites faster, with big emphasis on the "helping". It's not enough to just provide the tools, because every site is different, and sometimes figuring out little quirks can be a real pain in the you know what. So service is what we do, and that's why I got into site performance 9 years ago.
Take care, and happy optimizing!
