Q: Thanks for a good course in excel
Today same course launched by you on some other deal sites at the same price of $39 for the lifetime.
Then how it can be an exclusive deal for Appsumo users. I think on Appsumo, your course not getting enough response that's why you launched on other deal websites. It is not because your course is bad. Your course is good. But the reason is that Appsumo is a good platform for saas tools instead of launching courses. Well I am really likes your course contents. Wish you a great future ahead in 2019.
One of the great benefits of working with companies like Groupon over the years is that we've been able to serve over a million customers. We've taught 20,000 accountants from the Association of Accounting Technicians, and our learning materials have been, and continue to be used to train huge global brands. The trainer responsible for our Excel courses has actually worked at Microsoft.
What that has given us is expertise and experience. We know how people want to learn, and we know what people want to learn.
In terms of this deal, I can tell you with complete confidence that this is the best Excel deal we've ever run, and has never been offered before. If you were to buy the courses on our website individually, you'd find that the total for all of these courses is $751. High quality, professional excel training may well be worth much more than that to those who commit to it.
Are the formulas and everything else in this course for Excel the same as Libre Office's "Calc"?
Also, do you have an opinion on the closest match to Excel from other spreadsheet tools if Calc is very different? Google Spreadsheets, Mac Numbers, etc.
I want to make sure this course is just as valuable for non-MO Excel users. Thanks.
Q: Hi,
This would really be a tremendous help for our office staff.
What version of MS Excel is this training based on and how often would you normally update these trainings? In contrast to other Sumolings - it seems - we do use Office 365 and especially Excel every day in our business. But Excel keeps updating ever so often and I wonder if by the time we got to the advanced courses, they might already be completely outdated and hard to follow?
For training purposes, you could use what you've learned from the course, and perhaps the examples.
However, for various reasons, we don't recommend multiple people using one account. That is because:
• Our filtering technology personalised each individual's course path, and can only be used for a single user on each account. • Tracking statistics are affected by multiple people using one account • The courses are written for individuals, so may lack the context for team training.
I hope this helps inform any decision you make - feel free to ask more questions :)
You can indeed both use the same account. However, there are caveats. Mainly, that only one person can receive certificates of completion, and any progression statistics will be recorded constantly, so if the two of you use it, that might mix things up for you.
What if one spouse goes through all the courses first, and then the other spouse afterwards. Will that avoid the progression statistics being mixed up?
Somebody asked a similar question so I hope you don't mind me quoting our earlier answer:
"So, Excel and Google Sheets do share the same core functionality - learning an Excel course will be beneficial, but there will be some differences."
Unequicovally, I can tell you that this bundle would give you a strong foundation to work from on Google sheets, as they share so many formulas, functions and other aspects.
The platform is actually our own, preparatory software that we built specifically for our courses. It's been heavily user tested and works well on all major browsers and on mobile.
We host our videos in Vimeo which ensures they play everywhere!
So, Excel and Google Sheets do share the same core functionality - learning an Excel course will be beneficial, but there will be some differences. With regard to mac vs PC, we mainly cater to PC users, but the course titled: 'Microsoft Excel Course' in the list above does have a mac version. That being said, the mac and PC versions of Microsoft Excel software are similar, and it shouldn't hinder your understanding if you learn the PC version of Excel and then use Excel on a mac. There will be a few layout differences and the PC version of Excel does offer more advanced functionality, but the majority of what you learn will be relevant on a mac.
Thanks a lot for your question, and hope this helps somewhat!
Q: As I already own a old LTD of your Excel courses, I can say, you seems to stick around, and that is a great ...
starting point for a deal :-) Let me suggest you consider the following, taking into account Udemy often have free or discounted courses and Lydia is integrated in paid LinkedIn subscriptions. You might consider to let a code unlock any type of your courses - so people might chose to pick up learning about Wordpress instead of Excel etc. You might consider to unlock either bundles or your whole library if people stack the deal. The best of luck with your campaign.
This is a special bundle of handpicked courses that we think will greatly benefit the AppSumo community. We do offer other options that may better suit your specific needs, and any questions on those we will happily answer. Just contact our support at support@excelwithbusiness.com.
Looks like a very interesting offer. One "problem": I haven't been using MS (Excel) products this millennium. Instead I make use of G Suite, in this case Sheets.
I can imagine Basic MS Excel Course might be helpful to learn more about Google Sheets but what about the other courses included?
Looking forward to your honest answer, fully aware that the deal is about mastering MS Excel.
Good luck with your campaign - no matter the answer.
The basic functionality of Google Sheets and Excel is the same, so doing an Excel course would be beneficial. There are, of course, minor differences between the two so a specific Google Sheets course might be more suitable for you, but for questions on our other courses get in touch with us at support@excelwithbusiness.com.

groupon and deal sharing deals which seems to be they business model a pump and dump

Q: Are there any fancy certifications (verified) that we can put on LinkedIn after completing?
Matthew_ExcelwithBusiness
May 15, 2024A: Hi there,
You do receive certificates upon completing your courses, but they can't be digitally added to your profile on LinkedIn.
Thanks for your question!

She is an advanced excel user and I am a moderate user. Can my wife and I both use one account or do we each need to buy one?

Hi again,
Unfortunately, that is not the case. Your progression statistics would remain the same having completed the course.
