Are you referring to the max number of participants possible or within the AppSumo Deal limits?

For the number of participants possible:

There is no technical limit to the number of participants in a workshop. The most significant event that was organized with ExcelWay included 950 participants in a single activity. We automatically test the tool to support up to 10 000 participants.

However, we recommend that you get in touch with us if you're planning an event that would involve 700+ so that we can assist you and ensure that everything is ok for your event.

As to the AppSumo Deals limits:
Tier 3 includes 50 free participants in a public workshop. If you need more participants for your event, you can purchase the Large Event add-on at a discounted price of 25$.

For a private workshop, there is no limit of members in Tier 3. So basically, you could invite as many participants as you'd need. The only difference is that they would need to login (the process is very smooth) and you would need their email address.
