Q: Integrations with other accounting software?

I'm a bit confused on how this would work with other accounting software platforms like Wave Accounting or Quickbooks. If I understand correctly, this is only for expense tracking (not income), correct? Does this mean we wouldn't be able to view P&L statements, track invoices, etc. with the platform? If so, I'm genuinely wondering what the benefit is to use one platform for expenses but need another platform for everything else? I might be missing something though, so please clarify :)
