I bought Tier #3 of the ExpoSim software, and I have learned that the software works well. There is just a learning curve to get all things up and running. Right now you need Zoom Pro account at $20USD a month to get multiple users in the Auditorium. That or you can use free OBS, but more complex setup. I have been told that ExpoSim will come out with their own streaming software, but not sure what Tier will offer the streaming for free. I figured out how to add Vadoo.TV links in the Auditorium, rather than just the Youtube or Vimeo links.
Progress happens if you put some effort into this platform. I think I'll keep this software even though funds are tight for our church. Looking forward to ExpoSim.world coming out later this year. If there are higher tiers, I'd like to be informed of the upgrade options.
They have set up a discord channel for answering questions and this has helped. Looking forward to the future.

Thank you so much Sumoling for your kind review. We hope to get the 5th Taco aswell from you soon :)
The application has a future but some things still need to be defined
The ExpoSim team has done a great job to launch their product here at AppSumo but I think there are some features that need to be defined to make the deal more attractive to Sumolings: 1) One of the features that ExpoSim undoubtedly lacks is the possibility of streaming within the platform itself (without using third-party solutions such as Zoom). This is in development but the team doesn't give us any certainty as to whether that feature will be freely available to those of us who have purchased the deal. 2) In the ExpoSim.world version we are also not sure what features will be included for sumolings 3) It is necessary to publish a roadmap in which we can suggest features. That will enrich the product.
As for the positive: 1) The best thing is the support team. They have created a Discord channel where we can ask and receive support very quickly. Keep in that way!!! 2) The white label and the possibility of having our events in CNAME is very important, thanks for that.
Ultimately, I believe in the team behind this product and I hope they can provide us with the features that are yet to be developed within the deal.
Success for the ExPoSim team!!!

Hey there,
We are excited to announce that we have launched the ExpoSim App for Hybrid Events.
ExpoSim's hybrid solution seamlessly integrates physical and virtual venues to provide a comprehensive and unparalleled event experience.
We invite you to experience the ExpoSim App and unlock the full potential of your virtual and hybrid events.
Tested it for about two weeks now, and I like it very much! It is pretty strong in terms of features, navigation and flexibility. You can really create your own kind of world, in 100% your design. Thus, clear 5 Tacos.
What I hope they improve: Hotspots aren't yet 100% customizable, as far as I recognized. And the games are of no use for me. It would be great if you could embed games like quizzes from CrowdParty or so. But despite of that, for my use cases, this is already pretty awesome!

Hey Sumoling!! Thanks for the 5 Tacos. We also appreciate your feedback and are happy to let you know that we have added your request to our Roadmap. You'll soon see some progress in that direction.
Overall Exposim is promising, it has most options that are present in real-life events. Because I performed a limited setup I did not try the many features, for example registration management. The event frontend has various options for partner and sponsor logos.
The backend is not a strong part of Exposim and I cannot find a roadmap. What reduces my trust level is the website information, I read about a ticketing feature but it is not live yet. The activation email has an unreadable headline on mobile view, which is another indication of the position on the road toward maturity.
The setup guide is available via the backend and provides good help for a basic setup. There is still work to do to explain each setup field because these fields are not self-explanatory. The FAQ is not very appealing from a design perspective but it has much content.
The event lobby design consists mainly of doorways (hyperlinks) to the below-mentioned event rooms. The option for custom backgrounds is fine, there is no other option to change the look & feel of the lobby functionalities like gateways or links.
The design seems to be based on the idea to use the same design for 2D and 3D viewers. That is perfectly understandable and I like the 3D opportunities. It also limits the ability to create a smooth 2D look & feel that is used by the majority of online event visitors.
After the basic event setup, I felt lost about how to post and publish the event. I added our details for the general event registration form but I have no clue how to post this form on our website or an external platform. I have the same uncertainty with the landing page, good option but also no indication of how this can help marketing efforts. Overall it is important to have more information and features to display event details for promotion via email, corporate website, and other channels.
Marketing and publication aside I would prefer to have options for event testing. With events, it is extremely important to be able to test all features and ensure each participant can test login and test his/her tasks. At the moment in the left bottom corner, the Exposim brand is mentioned and it seems I cannot remove it although tier 3 is entitled to whitelabel. It is possible to use a custom domain for event URLs by sending an email to the support department of Exposim.
No native option for live events is for me the biggest limitation to start using Exposim. We still have to use a 3rd party live stream service like Zoom, Webex, or OBS. Because of this, I consider Exposim to be a cosmetic event shell with excellent features but it lacks the core functionality of a virtual event service. If this feature becomes available then the Exposim deal on Appsumo becomes a very interesting investment in the future of virtual reality.
I have reached the character limit of the Appsuno reviews so I'll stop here or may add details in a reply.
Hi, I don't leave many reviews but wanted to for these guys/gals, felt like they could use a little inspiration, encouragement & mega-good vibes sent their way! They have a great product & the customer service has been A+. We have something similar with eXp realty that I have been using for over a year & I, along with most people love this type of "live event feel & interaction" that is possible. Was very happy to see a deal like this come through on App Sumo! I signed up this morning (tier 3) & have been working on the platform most of the day. Have been VERY impressed with the cost (what you pay) - vs - value (what you get) equation & feel VERY good about my purchase! I would love for them to add a tier 4 or 5 so we could get a little more of this and that but I am excited about what I can do with this and where it is going! 5 tacos for me(only cause I could give them more:)!
