Q: I've just realized that these limits are per YEAR and not per month.

A quick calculation: 200GB/year is ~16.6GB per month. Let's say I have a few stories, 5-10 MB each.
Does it mean that the smallest plan is capped to about 2000 story views per month, the second plan is only 5000 views per month?

A: This was answered extensively elsewhere in the Q&A, but short version is we do a lot of magic to get files down in size. Unless wildly successful (of if abusing our servers), we don't expect any sumo-lings to hit these limits, so we're protecting our costs as hosting high quality images isn't cheap!

Do you use an image CDN provider? It can significantly lower your hosting expenses versus direct hosting while it allows faster load times for the clients.

Yes, we currently prioritize one CDN that's done particularly well for us, but we're set up to take advantage of others. This usually gets us into enterprise-contract conversations; but, as architected, we're CDN-agnostic.
