Great for Personal Use. Not Fit for Groups or Agencies.
Let me start off by saying the platform looks great. I love the functionality, the layout. It's beautiful. If you're a photographer looking to build a great looking portfolio, grab it.
For larger groups or agencies hoping to use this on a larger scale, it's currently not suitable. I was hoping to use the Tier 3 with multiple users, but the lack of control over User Permissions prohibits that. Currently you'd all share the same login and have access to everyone's content.
If you're hoping to connect client accounts to your own later down the road and charge them Exposure's monthly fee for it, you'd better hope your clients haven't heard of Squarespace, Pixieset or Cloudspot who offer similar functionality for a fraction of the price. You'd have to bulk purchase this LTD right now.
Admittedly I was somewhat disillusioned after inquiring about my intended use here on AppSumo, the reply made me hopeful they'd be open to ideas and suggestions.
However, in a chat on their website I was asked if I had the budget for custom development and was told they have no further info about 'User Permissions'. When asked for a timeframe, the response was 'maybe this year'.
Hence my 3-taco review. Perhaps my interpretation of this offer was completely off, but considering I've seen similar questions asked here, I'm likely not the only one.
I'm really hoping we'll get more clarity regarding User Permissions, as I think the deal will depend on it for many Sumolings, in which case I'll happily change my rating. All it would require is some sort of admin control over User Permissions on a story (post), folder or category basis. Knowing Sumolings, this would increase sales exponentially.
Again, don't let that stop you from purchasing this for personal use. It really does look beautiful and could be a perfect fit for you.

May 9, 2024Despite our current user login and permissions shortcomings, we do have a number of groups and organizations that use us, and just share a login with a password manager.
It's also something we've scoped out and are taking a look at... but want to make sure we get right as ease-of-use is very important to us.
