Q: Can you please define "host" for me?
Does this mean different presenters within a meeting?
For example, where I see the nine video faces on the one screen, and presumably they all have something to say during the discussion, does this mean they are a host rather than a guest?
If so, does this mean that guests on the video call can see those people but have their own face shown or voice heard on the call?
Use case: I host and have four other experts presenting an academic paper (I interview them and ask questions as a panel). I would like to open to a Q&A from guests. Does this mean the guests watching cannot unmute and ask a question verbally?

May 15, 2024A: Hi there,
Thanks for your interest in eyeson!
In eyeson we distinguish between two main roles: a host and a guest. All people with active eyeson licence are Hosts. Meaning, that these people can create rooms and start calls on their own.
If you do NOT have an account in eyeson, then you are aromatically become a guest of the call. Guests can only participate in calls, but do not have access to the platform after the call. They, however, will only be able to enter the call once a host starts the meeting.
Both hosts and guests can have a camera and microphone ON during the meeting. However, only 9 people (no matter host or guest) can be visible with the video on a screen.
I Hope, it clarifies your question.
Best,
Ekaterina
