Q: nicely designed, custom domain experience confusing

Hello, just jumped on the deal.
Noticed a few things:
1. Email invites to team members didnt send out -- had to click "resend" -- is this a bug?
2. The whitelabel domain is a bit confusing -- not the instructions of it -- but what to expect after -- https://share.zight.com/5zuE1N5d
but either way we get no SSL and a 404 page.
3. There's no way to "contact support" -- I couldn;t find a support email either, what is it?
I'll wait for your response before sharing more.

A: Hi there,

#1 Does not sound right, we'll look into this (hasn't been reported yet).

#2 Your domain was successfully added yesterday (and works). You may have received the "success" email too soon as the last part is queued and sometimes takes a little longer but the email is sent at the beginning of the queued process.

#3 There is a question mark icon at the bottom of each page. Click that...

Q: Can embed into our own website?

Is this still working? I read from the comment saying your team seem like "abandoning" this project. Anyway, apart from custom domain, can we embed this app into our own website?

A: Hi there,

Yes, it's still working. We use it ourselves for our products as well. Right now, you can only embed the "Announcement" widget, which basically shows the last 10 updates in a side-panel.

We do have plans to offer better embed functions next year and also finally release the next update with many improvements.

Q: Bug report

Hi,

For bug report, is it a private message to the founder (us) or like a public board with bugs ?

A: Hi there,

You can set categories as "private", so only your team and the person who submitted the bug can see it.

Q: Translations coming soon?

Hello, the tool looks interesting, but only English and German are available. Are you planning to add French very soon? The lack of a French version is clearly a significant barrier to purchase for us. Thanks.

Thanks for your patience. Translations for the frontend (what customers see) are planned, but the backend will likely remain English. Unfortunately, I'm not able to give you an ETA on that yet but once we're back on schedule with our update routine, we will add translations.

Q: Question about User Data Transfer and Subscription Status in Feedback Integration

If I have an app that offers a subscription or a Pro version, can I, when linking to the FeatureShift Feedbackboard website from within the app, directly transfer information about whether they are a Pro user or not? The purpose would be to distinguish which feedback is being supported by Pro users versus Free-tier users.

A: Hi there,

Neither of these things are currently possible with FeatureShift. But I like the idea of connecting to an API endpoint and showing additional data about a specific email address.

I added this to our internal todo list.
