I've used Feedbear for a few organizations I consult with as well as now my own startup. I had done a ton of research before finding Feedbear and tested the big ones like Product Plan and Product Board. And unless you've raised 20MM and your VC is on the board of these solutions and is forcing you to spend $200+ per month, you don't need it.

Feedbear does everything you need to manage a public roadmap and will scale with your org long past the early startup days. Although for newer companies, it's an absolute no-brainer. I have no official affiliation with Feedbear, although I have become friends with the founder and current owner. This is one of the big draws of the platform is that you will have a direct line of contact with the people that are defining their own roadmap. And they have a team of engineers and product people focused on adding features and improving the product. I've seen not less than 4 of my personal suggestions get built already.

The tool is simple to use, which is actually a really compelling aspect of the software. Managing your public roadmap and soliciting feedback from customers is not something that should take a lot of time. I'm able to create cards with planned ideas and get feedback from users quickly. I can prioritize my roadmap quickly and let users know what's coming next and why. I also keep a log of everything that gets released and alert my users about it. The tool is well built, bug-free, fast, and NOT bloated with features that don't really move the needle.
