I run a blog site and we average 4-5 updates per week. Feedblitz provides a great solution for me to manage an email subscription list and customized/configurable daily update that pulls from my latest blog entries.

The end result is that if I have any posts within a 24 hour period (usually there are 15-25 posts), then Feedblitz is configured to auto-send an email blast with a summary of all my blog entries. The special sauce is that this news digest is categorized and formatted so the news items appear under set categories that mirror my blog site. For the reader, this is perfect as they can quickly scan the daily posts based on the news categories they are interested in. And note, if no news postings happen, feedblitz is smart enough not to send an "empty" news digest email. So the email only goes out if news items have been posted on my blog.

The end result is in quick order, I have 2500 subscribers with no drop-offs/unsubscribes because they love receiving a daily news digest. It's a great way to promote my blog as well and is a key marketing tool which allows me to configure and sell banner space as well.
