Beautiful UI that Gives Me Control

I've spent a few hours with FeedHive, gained an understanding of its features, read a few of their blog posts, and sent out a single post. I'm loving it.

FeedHive has a beautiful UI that is easy to understand, and which gives me control over my social media content and schedule. I feel my anxiety reducing instead of increasing, like I do with other social media apps. I've never felt this way about a social media app before. It almost makes me feel like I can have fun doing social media posts for my business instead of feeling stressed. Wouldn't that be something?!

Everything is easy to understand. There are helpful information points that link to informative blog posts that are easy to read, with clear directions. They don't have annoying icons or cutesey animals and graphics on the page (ala PostoPlan), no distracting pictures of human faces or shiny objects that irritate you. No calendars on the dashboard filled with 'suggestions' about what to post (and which I can't turn off). It's simple, focused, and helps you get your job done.

Their recent update of a dark theme gives it another edge. I do most of my work at night, and a bright screen is irritating. It's so easy to modify CSS and create a new theme, why doesn't every app have one?

I've gone from using individual social media platforms where I posted a single post at a time, to Hootsuite's free plan, to Sociamonials (which I thought was great on initial usage, but then realized how janky it feels, and how many features don't work like I need them to), to PostoPlan, Ocoya, and now FeedHive.

Ocoya is FeedHive's strongest competitor at the moment. Ocoya has more features at the moment, and more planned integrations with platforms I use, such as WooCommerce, Amazon products, eBay products, and so forth, but most of these don't even exist yet except as ideas on their dashboard, so it's almost a moot point. I found their Travis AI to be worthless for my needs, and use a dedicated AI app such as Rytr instead. So if FeedHive can add those same integrations, then they'll be better in every way. I'm tempted to return my two codes for Ocoya for that exact reason. But it depends on how much FeedHive can continue to update their app.

Regarding FeedHive's AI features, their Generate Hashtag tool did little more than turn my post's keywords into #keyword equivalents. However, the Performance Prediction seems like it could help increase engagement rates, based on previous performance of over 100,000 posts on their platform. And the Inspiration tool does suggest good ideas, albeit a bit repetitive.

Overall, I'm impressed enough to want to upgrade to Tier 2, even though I have no need for it, and can't imagine ever going beyond 25 accounts. It just feels so good to have finally found a useful and stress-free social media app that it makes me want to support their efforts.

Highly recommended.
