Q: Can you explicitly clarify "Lifetime access to Filmora Business Plan with 5 devices available (PC and Mac)"?

Based on the following email interaction with Filmora after I purchased the Filmora deal previously, I do not think Sumolings may completely understand the terms of the deal.

From me:
"I am a bit confused also. I recently purchased 5 business licenses for Filmora via AppSumo [http://www.appsumo.com/filmora/]. In the details, it states "5 Business Licenses for either Mac or PC" and this purchase is a lifetime purchase. Nothing is mentioned that "...that each license can be registered up to 5 times in total based on our license policy.". I just bought this recently and just because I am have a new OS installed and may need to reinstall Filmora, that counts as a license use and I lose it completely? Please let me know so I can update the AppSumo community accordingly."

From Helen from Filmora:
"I think appsumo may interpret our license policy in a different way. Please kindly refer to our license policy here.

In essence, once Filmora is installed on a computer, that license is used up. No uninstalling and reapplying it is what I got.

A: Hi Sumo-ling,

Each one Business Exclusive Set offered in this deal includes one Filmora Business Lifetime Plan. One Filmora Business Lifetime Plan can be used on one device (PC or Mac) at the same time.

Hey Sumo-ling,

Correct, it's 5 installs - which is why we made this deal include 5 licenses and not just one :)

wait so if i install i can not uninstall and use licesen again?

It's a simple question: "wait so if i install i can not uninstall and use licesen again?"

Simple answer is no.

Each time you install it, that's one of the five licenses used and it cannot be used again. if you wipe the OS on your PC that had Filmora installed on, reinstalling an OS and Filmora again on that very same PC would count as another license used. I found this out the hard way.

This is not a licensing deal that Sumolings are used to.

oh wow. its definitely not a product i want in this case. thanks for the warning and saving me from the potential issues.

Hi Sumo-lings,

With respect to this concern, please don't worry about it, because you will always be able to reuse the license. Filmora support team will help you to release your license from any of the installed computers.
