Q: Hello, with your app can we make long music using a loop?

For videos of 10-20 minutes or maybe more?

A: Just to add to Amalie's comment. I think she's right to suggest that 5 minutes is ideal; especially when working with video. However, if you create a Soundtrack-only session then you can easily create longer background music beds of 10 minutes or more! 🙂

Hi there,

So the app allows you to create soundtracks up to 5 minutes long. However, we also have our Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X plugins where you can customise the tracks alongside editing your footage. You could use the plugins to loop/repeat the tracks. 😊

Thanks for you answer, do you have in plan to make app to work with DaVinci Resolve?

Happy to help 😊

We have looked into adding a DaVinci plugin in the future. But in the meantime, there’s plugging on adobe or FCPX plugin or standalone. We're still very much dedicated to providing Filmstro for all major NLE platforms. One way to help make this happen is by reaching out to the DaVinci team and sharing that you're interested in this. That will definitely speed things up! Thanks.

Do you have a sample video to make a loop/repeat track? Can it make the loop/repeat get a proper continuous to the ended timeline?

Hey there,

I'm not sure I quite understand the question. Please feel free to reach out to us direct via support@filmstro.com and we can continue this dialogue! 🤓

It says that we can use the app for short and feature films. A google search gives 40 mins as a length for short films, and feature films is all up to 210 minutes. Is this correct? What is the max minutes that is allowed in the app for a single video? And, what is the recommended length (mins) per video?
Do you also have tracks where arrangements of Christian hymns are arranged in various styles (classical, ambient, various instrumental arrangements, etc)?

Hey there,

The way the Filmstro can be used most effectively is by working on individual tracks for your project. So, if that's a short film or feature film, you would only want to upload the section/scene you're working on and then create your soundtrack. Then render, download and import into your NLE.

Treat Filmstro like your very own composer who can write 1 piece of music at a time! 🤓

Here's a full-cycle Demo for you in case that's useful: https://youtu.be/spLkxHljxW4
