May 14, 2024A: Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch and I'm so sorry to hear you've had trouble downloading the tracks!
Please can you uncheck the automatic download check box in the preferences section? Also, please download the library in sets of 5-10 tracks at a time rather than downloading every track in one go. 😊
If this does not work, please can you email me (amalie@filmstro.com) and I can send you a few more possible fixes for this issue. 😉
I do apologise for the inconvenience. Please do let me know how you get on.👍🏽

hi
Please can you uncheck the automatic download check box in the preferences section?
I can not see any auto download checkbox in preferences.
it is indeed downloaded stuff.
I try to download 1 track and it fails again and again after partially downloading.
it also gives econnreset error, cant reach library but reaches after retry..
edit/preferences shows library proxy or audio
can not see auto download checkbox in any
thanks
Thanks for getting back to me.
Ok, there are a few more things we can try to fix this issue:
1. Please try manually uninstalling Filmstro Pro. Here is how to do this:
You will need to delete 2 folders before reinstalling: Filmstro Pro & filmstro-pro. Follow these steps to locate them:
For macOS:
Open Finder > Go > press ‘alt’ and click ‘Library’ folder from dropdown list > Application Support > Filmstro Pro & filmstro-pro
For Windows:
Go to File Explorer > search bar for %appdata% > App Data Roaming > Filmstro Pro & filmstro-pro
Let me know how you get on and if you need me to clarify any of this.
2. This could also be a firewall/anti-virus issue. If you have either of them setup you'll need to do the following:
You'll need to allow access to the following domains and services:
themes.assets.filmstro.com
themes-alt.assets.filmstro.com
filmstro.com
filmstro.eu.auth0.com
auth0.com
Filmstro should only be using HTTP and HTTPS (port 80 and 443)
Good luck!
3. Please try going to Filmstro Pro > File > Delete Library. This may fix the issue.
If none of these steps resolves the issue then I will reach out to our developers and see if they can help. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
