Q: Thank you for your offer here.

I have two questions please:

1. What does this mean: Short and feature films for personal client distribution? It's the "personal" part that concerns me. Commercial features not included?

2. I'd be interested to know Mac compatibility specs please for the plug-in a (OS#, etc).

Thank you!

A: Hi there,

Our pleasure. Here are the answers to your questions:

1. That wording is a little bit confusing, but basically, there are no restrictions for Tier2. It means you can enter the film into any festivals, have it streamed, distributed, sold, aired on TV etc. etc.
2. For the main App, these are the system specs you will need: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan or later

The Filmstro Adobe Panel is currently compatible exclusively with Premiere Pro CC 2019 & 2020. If you have an older version of Premiere Pro, this could cause issues.

We are currently supporting up to Premiere Pro CC 2020 version 14.0.3 (Windows) and 14.0.1 (Mac).
To ensure compatibility, use Adobe Creative Cloud to access older versions of Premiere Pro.

We are currently working on compatibility for Version 15.1 (April 2021) and have a dev build that already works but haven't yet released the patch!

Just to add to this. I've just spoken to one of our Devs and the Adobe Premiere plugin is working for PC on the latest version of Premiere (15.1). I will confirm about Mac later this week! 👊
