These new Cinematic SFX packs are a completely new product line that didn’t exist when the AppSumo Lifetime offer was made. All lifetime licenses still include everything that was promised at the time of purchase, including full, unlimited access to the Filmstro app and music catalogue; including music updates in perpetuity (which is literally the most generous music offering we've ever seen on this platform!).

The SFX are optional add-ons — brand new, original content created in 2025 — and available to all users (lifetime or otherwise) as a separate one-time purchase of digital downloads or as part of a subscription plan.

We value our lifetime customers, but like any creative company, we also need to evolve and create new products to keep growing.
