When you say complimentary, do you mean that it's free or that they each compliment each other as a service?

Just want to clarify since it says its a $50 lifetime deal. An since FTL is endorsing this product can you vouch for its service to not drop off the face of the earth in a month or that they will provide a product that has CONSISTENT quality service since there's no refunds once you pay?

I'm asking FTL this because you guys sent the email and must obviously trust them in order to do so. Which tells me you could take responsibility for this endorsement since you sent it to everyone who purchased FTL.

Also, I'm keeping my responses and questions here since I purchased FTL from AppSumo and know if I'm going through this other Sumo-lings are going through this too. Plus the interface resembles AppSumo too much to not keep this conversation here.

I purchased it. It's complimentary in the sense that they work together well. If he meant complimentary in the sense that it's free then, obviously, there would be no price listed.

I played with it a little bit. to be able to write a personalized invitation I'll need to upgrade, I'm not sure I want to do that

Still, this has a feature that allows bulk uploads into FTL, which is why they complement each other.

i only wish the lifetime was for their ultimate package so i could send a more personalized invitation to connect

i've actually been debating all day long if I should buy an additional 3 codes. I already purchased 3 codes. But, if they need to be as separate accounts, then I'm not sure how that would work with overlap and duplication. They say you can just use different search parameters in each account, but I don't know. It might be easier to just go slow and use my 6000 credits each month.

With Complementary i mean that both tools works good together, as you said, each one works good with the other.

Scrab.in was developed by part of the findthatlead team ( mostly developers ) , and Gerard and me as a Founders give them support and we lovely trust them, it's a magnific tool and will get updates soon to work much better.

So here's what I've gathered from these responses:

1) The sumoling that responded gave some interesting insight almost like a spokesperson in disguise. Firstly, Scrab.in specifically says that it's not affiliated with anyone yet this sumoling says that not only are they affiliated but it's the same company and the FTL responder doesn't deny it. An then he just goes on and one about the top tier packages, come on now make it more obvious!
2) FTL sent me this deal in the first place which tells you there's an affiliation automatically.

My problem with all this now is you could've said this was simply an upsell, avoid using App Sumo's theme, avoided the whole we are not affiliated with anyone on the landing page, not making it spammy with the no refund cash grab you're trying to do, etc.

I'm not getting it and I hope all sumolings reads this to stay away from what looks like a dirty cash grab. Appreciate AppSumo lets you use there platform and don't abuse there loyal fans because this was disheartening to see. The concept alone was very interesting and really made me want to buy but all these red flags made me steer clear.
