Non-fiction only
I’m sure this product is great at what it does, but unfortunately it’s for non-fiction books only. I had no idea as the product description doesn’t really make that clear — what I wanted to use it for falls somewhere in between fiction and non-fiction so this is no help for me.

You’re right that First Book ai is focused on non-fiction today. That’s been a deliberate choice so we could go deep on one use case and actually build something that produces strong, structured books people can finish.
That focus has allowed us to help thousands of users create non-fiction manuscripts, and we’ve now also built a Skool community where hundreds of authors are working together on refining and publishing their books.
We hear the request around fiction and hybrid formats. It’s something we’re planning to expand into over time, but we wanted to get the non-fiction experience right first.
If your project sits between fiction and non-fiction, it may not be the perfect fit right now. But you’re always welcome back as we expand the platform.
