May 14, 2024A: No we have not exposed our API yet but we have had a lot of requests to do so and we have agreed internally that we will.
Currently we do not have a clear winning use case so I am willing to listen to suggestions.
Are we going to export to accounting systems yes its on the roadmap with Xero first

I've integrated to 6 different accounting systems, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV towards our E-Commerce offerings.
Why?
Because every business tend to use something different.
So, I'd suggest making an API a priority - manual accounting is something company owners don't have time with.

When we designed our API we developed it for external clients using oAuth2.
You are right, integrations are key and we are in a very good place to plan for this.
We are a very strong technical team.
