Really good book keeping app
Fiskl is a really good book keeping app and perfect for freelancers and small businesses. It's just so easy to invoice and keep on top of your expenses. It's very simple to use on your mobile or desktop and that's its greatest strength.
Support has been great too so far. I had a problem with the ios app and I jumped on to their chat on Saturday evening thinking I would leave a message but within 5 mins I had an answer with a fix for my problem!
So all good so far plus there roadmap looks promising.
Here are my feature suggestions.
1. Be great to be able customise what is in the invoice emails - They just need more personalization and maybe more guidance for the client receiving the invoice email.
2. Can we use our own custom email domain instead of noreply@fiskl.com for sent emails.
3. Invoices need more customization. - add detailed description for work provided - Remove VAT - Better branding and logo.
4. Can you add a description column to the main expenses screen for both mobile app and desktop app. At the moment you have to click into an expense to find out what it is for, just a time saver it would be!
5. In an expenses it has a drop down to select a client, often I have expenses that are not for one client but used on multiple projects. Is it best practice to leave it blank?
6. Can we have an option to dismiss the "You've completed 75% of your profile on the mobile app home screen as I have filled in as much as i can in my profile! Not every user will need to enter VAT or accounting numbers.
7. Can you add a remember me tick box to the desktop app so you don't have to sign in each time.
8. Can you add Two-Factor Authentication for the desktop app and mobile app login?
9. Is it possible to sync the iOS calendar to the calendar in Fiskl? That would be great!
10. Can you add the day names to both the mobile and desktop app calendars. This will make it easier to read.
11. I think the calendar needs a little more work so it is more user-friendly to use.
