It's good, in the way that it does the job. However, it doesn't include cloning of your voice, and it also misses out on many of the premium voice. You're left with naturally robotic voices or fair sounding pro voices.
I'd buy another to unlock more feature. But right now, probably wouldn't consider an in-app upgrade at $8 monthly. Be good if you guys reconsider this offer.
I have used wellsaid labs which I think it’s still number one on the market but it’s the most expensive as well at $50 month. Fliki right now it’s on the same level as Lovo and murf.Ai in my opinion and I’m sure the software will get even better. I went on their site check out the American male voices which I use in my videos and I was hooked sound so realistic. It was between Blakify and Fliki here on appsumo and after my testing Blakify best ultra voices as they are called don’t even come close still sound robotic glad I purchased this deal and I will be on the lookout for their text to video to come back to appsumo I’m getting it right away and I know it’s cheap now on their site for a monthly payment but I rather pay a one time price. to the developers Please continue to grow this software thanks.
I was amazed by how easily it converted an article into voice. It was super quick. I see several areas of opportunity:
As with other comments, I would keep giving love to the Spanish Voice selection (I'm a Mexican content creator). I was wondering if there are plans in the future to, besides the rate and pitch, we could give direction to the voices in terms of emotion. I've worked with voice actors before, and those voice inflections definitely add a lot. It would be great to consider adding an option to pronounce specific phrases/words in other languages. For example, one of the articles I was working with is in Spanish, but it has book titles in English, which are too pronounced in Spanish with a bit awkward sound.
I'm eager to discover more of the future updates for Fliki!
Fliki Text to Speech Audio is a big win. I've been working on several audio recordings over the past couple of weeks. Then I discover Fliki. What was taking over a day now took less than an hour! For real. It's easy to use once you know how to use commas and pauses for the AI to read naturally. With so many quality AI voices, it's hard to decide. Most users won't even recognize the voices as AI. Yes, the minutes may seem a little limiting, but once you understand the system, you can be confident in your audio file without listening to each section. Also, 👍 for your support. I needed several lengthy pauses in my audio which didn't seem to be in the final download. Support was quick and friendly to explain 5 seconds is the longest pause, but I could upload a blank audio file. I made several silent audio files of different lengths, and the problem was solved. While some may prefer the separate AppSumo deal that includes text to video, this one fits my need. Thanks, Fliki!
I have been trying to figure out how to create audiobooks in a way that is budget-friendly, as standard narration is expensive and return on investment can be slow. I'm really pleased I found Fliki, as the audio-only tier is perfect for what I need right now, and less expensive than having one audiobook created through an AI service.
I'm giving four tacos, since sometimes the options to increase or reduce the tone or emphasis work, and sometimes a setting doesn't seem to make any difference. Also, some of the voices have great inflection, but it's only a handful of the options in each dialect, at most. But if Fliki keeps growing and adding options I can see this being a great five-taco product in the future! Thanks, Fliki.
