The all-in-one alternative to Pictory + Murf/Blakify solution that I'm betting on

The all-in-one alternative to Pictory + Murf/Blakify solution that I'm betting on. I've considered a Pictory + Blakify combo but it is too taxing to manage.

Fliki has loads of potential but of course it is not yet perfect. I have tried making AI text-to-speech with video clips and I love the availability of neural voices (the availability of neural voices beats Pictory hands down).

I'm planning to use Fliki for creating short video essays (using my blog posts / opinion columns) and potential academic course content. I want to host simple podcasts too.

The main weakness of Fliki right now is the credits system. My experience is that I've used 10-13 minutes of credits already tinkering with a 700-word article.

My recommendations:

1. Be more generous with the credits system: I agree that with the video+neural TTS solution, unlimited monthly credits is unsustainable for the business. But you have to find the sweet spot. Maybe offer cheap top-ups? Or do not count voice-only previews against the credits? If not for the TTS+video solution, I would have chosen Blakify's unlimited TTS only deal over Fliki.

2. Improve the pronunciation mapping: I encountered a bug where I successfully changed the pronunciation of the noun "lead" (pronounced as "led"), but unfortunately, the subtitles replace the word "lead" with "led" too. The subtitles should show what is in the script, but the voice should follow the pronunciation mapping without changing the subtitle appearances.

3. Improve the subtitle appearances: the interactive subtitles are great but my words seem to be stuck at 3 per phrase. Have the option to increase this.

4. For videos that will only feature the TTS (no clips, only subtitles), have the option of an animated waveform or customizable gradient colors. It is possible that i want to create videos with only subtitles and waveforms.

Overall for now, I'm betting on and sticking with Fliki (and also still use Narakeet) for my TTS+video needs. I'll review after a few months of using.
