Somewhat limiting
I find the basic tier very limiting, especially compared to competitors like heyzine. E.g. not even basic differentiation settings for view mode etc. whereas I get almost all settings for 5 PDFs with heyzine for free.
So if you don't have more than 5 PDFs to embed, rather get the competitor SAAS.
