Three Issues Detract from Value
The software works with the following caveats...
1. Requires an upgrade to change the logo color (how ridiculous is that!)
2. Full screen embed made it impossible to re-enter my site to edit (DNN platform). This forced me to restore a backup on the site!
3. No ability to remove the Powered by link. Having any links to outside websites (especially non-related content) should be my choice. It is an SEO issue. Displaying the link promotes flipbooklets and demotes my own sites SEO value.

Edited Jan 3, 2026Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
1. The logo colour is part of our platform branding and we do not allow the changing of it. Yes, it can be removed entirely on Tier 2 and 3 because FlipBooklets is a hosted platform offering lifetime, unlimited hosting and sharing. Tiered branding options are how we sustainably support that model long‑term. I hope you can understand.
2. Sorry to hear this happened. The embed is a standard iframe snippet and shouldn’t affect the wider site outside the page it’s placed on. If you’re happy to email support@flipbooklets.com, I’d genuinely like to understand what went wrong, but this isn’t something we directly control.
3. On Tier 2 and above, you can remove the “Powered by” link. It’s optional at those levels.
As for the SEO point, outbound links from embedded content (like flipbooks inside iframes) don’t affect your site’s SEO rankings. Google does not index iframe content the same way as on-page links. I hope that clears it up.
Thanks again for the constructive feedback, we always aim to improve and support a range of use cases.
