I'm a YouTuber and I've tried a number of editors over the years so I was immediately interested in this one, I've an old laptop I take with me when travelling and it's not powerful enough to edit video without a lot of waiting around.

This has the standard editor layout: media library, preview window and track editor. What is great for those just getting started is it includes motion graphic templates (eg subscribe animations), a stock video library and stock music.

The overall editing experience is smooth and felt like I was using a local bit of software rather than something in the cloud.

A couple of niggles which the developers have said they are working on: at the moment you can't see the audio track, just the video, and you can't ripple insert new clips (ie put a clip in before lots of others and have them all move along).

Team members can work on different projects, although they can't access the same project at the same time. Media files can be shared between the team or kept in a personal folder.

To export a 7ish minute video took about 2 minutes, and then some additional time for it to appear on my YouTube account.

Overall I think this is a very good deal, I look forward to seeing how the software develops.
