There are several products on AS at the moment that are similar to Flokzu and I like the idea of them, half database, half spreadsheet, half form manager, but they are not all created equally. Flokzu is the one I am going to be keeping.

I have a specific use case that is a little off the beaten path, but still right next to it. So, I need a tool that has some flexibility. A couple of the options I purchased were just substitutes for Google Sheets, and a couple were a bit more flexible. The most recent one I tried is a fairly well - known contender in this area, but when I presented my use case to support, they acted like I had asked for a million-dollars and a parachute.

I stumbled across Flokzu and was intrigued by the variety of use-case examples. So, I refunded the last option and purchased. Right away, the experience was different. Once I explored a bit, I had my first form/db application running in just a few minutes. From there it was on to my use case.

In about an hour I had digested enough documentation to see that not only was it possible, but that it many ways, Flokzu wasn't going to break a sweat doing it. Just the same, I messaged support and was greeted by this: "Hi! My name is Adonys, and I love receiving questions from the sumo-ling community." Okay... that is different... I explained my scenario and Adonys told me that not only is it possible, but referred me to an article explaining how to do it, and followed that with "Let me know if this helps you, and if not I can make a little example to show you how its works".

Okay, I am here to stay, and rating Flokzu Five Tacos for excellent customer service, but also for having the most flexible and powerful tool of its kind that I have found. The "scripts" functionality means that I can do literally anything with my data that I can imagine. I am not limited to what some developers think I should be able to do with it.
