Q: Sorry to bother with a beginner question.

I'm trying to think of real world usecases for someone like me. I run affiliate sites and own a local business. I understand WordPress; been using it for years.

This floats way over my head. Real world usage for an affiliate marketer and local business owner. What advantages do I get with flotiq VS just standard WordPress?

Is the utility of headless CMS like flotiq strictly limited to enterprise customers?

A: Every question is important. No worries :)

Let's start from the beginning - no, headless CMS is not just for enterprise customers. Our users are single developers or people who create with the JAMSTACK concept.

There are several ways to use Flotiq in your case. You can set up individual affiliate sites using Flotiq as a data source (content) + Gatsby / NextJS (frontend). We have starters that can help you create a website in no time, e.g. https://flotiq.com/blog/building-blog-with-gatsby-starter. If you are considering changing WordPress to Headless CMS, check this post at https://flotiq.com/blog/how-to-move-from-wordpress-to-jamstack-using-our-gatsby-wordpress-starter.

Another way to use Flotiq is to treat it as data space. For example, you can keep affiliate links and click statistics there. In Flotiq, you define what you want to peculiar (e.g. link name, URL, clicks), and in another system, use them and update click statistics via API.

Same here, I'm having a play and it's very techy indeed and the templates supplied seem very basic a not so nice looking so it looks like I need a techy skill set to make something i'd want to use.
I also checked out a often mentioned front end partner Gatsby and that also is super techy and the front end templates available are limited in number and a clear backward step (appearance wise) versus Wordpress themes.
The web nirvana suggested sounds great but so far it's looking like a pipe dream to me that I will never reach. Maybe i'm missing something but i hope that it can be made easier and more accessible for non-coders and people with Wordpress level skills or I think I will be refunding.
