Even though the LTD has ended, I want to leave a review.

I most like the simplicity of the UI and potential this got.

My skillset as more the beginner to intermediate developer (I learn stuff as needed to simplify my life and the stack I use related to Marketing automation, e.g. landing pages, related demand generation using social media, capturing leads, lead scoring and sales pipelines). While there are tools for this, none meets my expectations or needs - and if they do, they come at a price tag I am not willing to pay or require pricy AddOns, which is why I am doing it from scratch.

Flotiq appears to be powerful and flexible enough to allow me doing things "my way".

While the docs and guides seriously need a lot of love (hint: Add vanilla JavaScrip code snippets + check your competition on most viewed articles/videos/walk throughs + seek a few influencers using your platform to share use-cases & provide more comprehensive demo content. Thinking of e.g. the guy from JavaScriptMastery), the platform overall covers most things I need - just missing an integrated mail API to connect the dots related to my Workflow (e.g. transactional mails.

There is no lack of headless platforms, and to be honest, I mainly bought Tier 2 (and would love to upgrade to Tier 3 if the deal were still available) simply as it was too good to ignore. Its hard for me to tell what the USP compared to Contenful, Sanity & Co is and I don't care too much (Hint: Maybe a good time to work on your go to market messaging since you really want any prospects to understand why they should go with you rather 'the other', no?)

I originally bought Flotiq based on a few of the reviews and because the deal was almost over. I started to use the platform and go through the documentation and realized that this may be one of the best deals I have bought on appsumo. Flotq is a headless CMS (content management system). It lets you define and build content once, then serve it to multiple channels with auto-generated, compliant APIs. That means you can build landing pages, blog posts, and more, all from one place.
Flotq makes life simple for backend developers and content creators.
I am really impressed with the platform and their documentation.

I am absolutely gobsmacked to find this deal on appsumo so I got 4 codes immediately!
This represents the future of web-development and the backend, which is what Flotiq offers, is the most expensive part of the Jamstack (see what it costs when this deal is over? That the standard folks!)
This deal offers something that is really,really rare, instant search. Usually youll have to pay for instant search seperately, well its in here. And then the absolute golden ticket - multilingual capapbilities - that is insane!
you want a mobile app for Iphone/android? You've got a react native starter
You need a next.js web app? They've got a nextjs starter
And as someone mentioned here. Opposed to strapi, hosting is included which saves you $$$$$

and to top that they support is super responsive. Pretty sure that if you are a webdev you are going to weep if you dont get this

We develop a lot of websites with Strapi as backedend CMS. Flotiq is alternative to Strapi, now I do not need to worry to host it anymore, instead focus on developing. Initially will start using it for my personal projects, going further will use for client projects as well. Excited to get started.....

Good product and I can say it will grow bigger.

I have had sometime to review and test out the functionalities and I like the product design and where the product is headed. I am looking forward to better organization (Projects, Workspaces) of content/type definitions for those of us that manage multiple clients within an account.

5 tacos from me! I've been using Flotiq for some time for a project where we store tens of thousands of objects in the system. I now purchased the LTD to cover my future needs, I think it's a great value, especially with the increased storage capacity. Their OpenAPI support is a killer feature for me, we use it to expose our API using an API gateway and then apply policies and all needed governance on top of it. The UI is a bit outdated but still feels nice and polished. Coming from an enterprise world - I really appreciate how they built the product around existing and emerging standards - it fits perfectly with other products I'm using.

Fits the bill if you need an easy cms, generates a clean api and interface is easy to understand.

Some feedback:

1) Looks like it's already planned, but ability to separate content/definitions into projects... I imagine everybody wants this. Right now I'm thinking a temporary solution is to prefix definitions with project name which is cumbersome and messy. Hoping that when the project feature is added that it'll be easy to port existing content into respective projects.

2) This is really trivial and not a deal breaker, but I wish all the sections of the UI didn't do a scale up animation - can get annoying and actually makes the ui feel slower than it is since you have to wait 300ms each time you change sections.

I create React websites and I use Flotiq whenever I have a client that wants to be able to edit their own content. They make it so much easier to create all the custom fields and use their API to link it to their site in a way that their changes appear on the live site instantly after they save their changes! They also have an incredibly helpful team willing to help with any trouble you might run into. I can't recommend them enough!
