If I'd be Travis I'd already fixed the pricing/tier information on the page. I mean the time spent explaining that the AppSumo deal will be tied to an existing plan and then not showing that plan officially is a bummer. I've been burnt before like other Sumolings.
Why don't you just upgrade the AppSumo deal to the Code+ Plan and include all future updates to it? Done deal for everybody here.
I'd also like to know how Flow compares with Hype, which is the leading HTML 5 web animation tool on the Mac. Surely you must have heard of it?

While that's understandable, we've been pretty clear in multiple responses here on what is being offered, and what is promised.
Flow's Appsumo Lifetime Deal is an official package offered only through Appsumo. We will be supporting the features listed in that deal indefinitely, as we will with all other packages we endorse. The sumo-lings that purchase have their feature set clearly marked out, and we will continue to support that feature set as long as we run Flow.
Many sumo-lings have purchased, and left their honest reviews, which we'd love for you to take a look at.
The Appsumo Lifetime Deal is not the Code+ subscription package. The Appsumo deal will receive all updates to support the core software and it's feature set, indefinitely, as listed here:

Hype looks great. Too bad it looks like they're gated to only HTML5. Real shame they don't offer iOS, React, any kind of functional components outside of HTML, or the industry standard of Lottie. They're pretty locked to the web, which is a shame in a world where there is a large spread of different tech-stacks out there that won't do with HTML.
Good thing Flow offers all that, and more. ;)
You do know that you can purchase Flow, try it, and if you hate it, you can just request a refund as long as the deal is up on Appsumo? Be more than happy to take you for a spin through the software too if you have more questions after looking through our extensive tutorial library.

Woah, when Travis said “This is an official tier and we will be maintaining it indefinitely (LTD) – we just have to get our download page tightened up.” I’m pretty sure most people took that to mean this was Code+ plan and you just hadn’t synced up the wording.
If you’re going to make this a custom plan for appsumo customers (and I truely hope you don’t) then I’d maybe suggest calling it the ‘appsumo plan’ to reduce the confusion.
If you’re only planning to include what is explicitly listed here then it feels like we are very much not a part of Flow’s vision going forward. Most people are not purchasing an Ltd to convert to a subscription customer later, they’re aiming to buy into a worthwhile investment by being early, staking the cash up front, and contributing to make the product greater for everyone involved.
