Go with the flow!
Flow is a tool that I was familiar with before this launch on Appsumo. As a UX/UI designer I spend a lot of time in Sketch, and the one killer feature Sketch lacks is motion. There's a lot of great tools to help with this, but Flow is easily one of the best.
As any designer will tell you, communicating your designs to the development team is difficult. Even with dev handoff there's still issues with them 'getting it'. Communicating interaction design to a dev is even harder - it involves a lot of discussions, hand actions and woosh noises.
Flow strikes a balance between getting the job done, and creating something beautiful. The default motion settings are beautifully eased, the interface is lovely and minimal, the features are smart to the point they make you go 'wow that was easy', and the roadmap looks amazing.
The only downside to this deal is the one on everyone's lips... the plans and their capacity for you to really enjoy this product for a lifetime.
Ask any sumoling what their top two gripes are, and I'm sure they'll all agree they're:
1. The deal not being tied to an existing plan - which can lead to a 'lifetime' of being left behind.
2. Important features that just feel unnecessarily stripped from the deal. Nerfed.
In some ways the plans here are misleading because they don't properly express the inclusions. For example, there is no 'code' plan, only a 'code+' plan that is coming soon. So it's not explicitly clear if we're tied to the code+ plan or not. And secondly the link in each license takes you to a page that shows that "All Flow Design + Animation features" are available on all plans, including the free plan. Both things that could be fixed with a little more elaboration.
I think everyone here would love to have an offer for the 'Pro' tier. Mainly just for piece of mind, but also because there are some exclusions that are just super hard to justify. e.g. Lottie only for Web, but not for Mobile. Just such a strange decision for an app purpose built to help designers create UI interactions.
So to wrap everything up: The app is fantastic, and will definitely make your life easier as a designer. It's not as complex as Framer, and it's a generation ahead of tools like Principle. You have to try it, because it's obviously had a lot of love from the developer. The inclusions in this deal unfortunatley are a grey zone, and it's not clear if this plan will become outdated, or if everything in the roadmap will be included moving forward. The plan isn't the top tier, even though everyone really wishes it was.
@Travis - I think every designer here is super happy you chose to launch this project on AppSumo, and I think you'll find a lot of really helpful people who want to help you grow the product. One of the best things about this community is the discussion (here and in FB groups), suggestions, insights, honesty, bug-reporting, external reviews (G2, Capterra), and all-round positivity for great products and founders.

I really do read and take to ❤︎ the feedback everyone is mentioning here, and in the questions, and am incredibly appreciative of the candidness of the community.
