Although I'm a complete beginner when it comes to animation, my experience with Flow has been supremely positive so far. Everything from the excellent UI & UX, to the fantastic support, extensive feature-set and the stability of the software is top drawer. As another user mentioned, Flow already feels like a mature product. This is nothing short of remarkable, and the fact that they're just getting started makes this a supremely exciting option for anyone looking to level-up their animation game.

Despite being new to this area of design, I do not feel out of my depth with Flow. It offers an inviting platform to beginners whilst ensuring that advanced users can maximise its true potential. I highly recommend Flow and am genuinely excited to have joined them at this stage in their evolution. Thank you AppSumo and Flow for putting this deal together!

Pros:
🌮 I've looked for a genuine alternative to AE for ages. Although it's early days yet, I have high hopes for Flow and believe that they have an exciting future ahead of them. In terms of web-based animation, Flow might already be one of the best solutions yet.
🌮 Intuitive and well-designed UI/UX
🌮 Flow's implementation of Easing for animation is brilliant!
🌮 Relative mode is a game-changer when re-working animations and shifting designs to other areas of the workspace.
🌮 Ability to export code is incredible for web design
🌮 Integration with Figma and Sketch is a fantastic way to incorporate your existing tools
🌮 Excellent onboarding tutorials and support
🌮 Saucy-looking dark mode
🌮 Hands-on developers who appear to be genuinely intent on evolving Flow into a major player!

Considerations:
🤔 Not being able to integrate with React is not a big deal for me but it's worth mentioning for more advanced users/developers.
🤔 Not being tied to an existing plan. Please, Flow! Is there any possibility that you'll consider bumping us AppSumo customers up to the Code+ plan - even if it meant us purchasing more codes? I think it would really resonate well with the wider AppSumo community.

Requests:
🙏 Future integration with Affinity Designer and Photo. The possible combination of Flow with Affinity's existing suite is too tantalising to ignore!
🙏 More options for custom layer masks! I know this complicates the code export but it would still be a great feature for exporting other file types such as animated PNG, GIF and MP4 etc.
🙏 Custom and shared animation presets and templates for common effects and actions
🙏 Snapping to key points in the Scene to make the aligning of objects and elements easier.
🙏 Possible iPad app to take our animations on the go!
🙏 Dark mode toolbar... Can you add some more contrast or colour so as to make the selected option/tool more apparent?
