When I first launched it, I was already happy how smooth and fast it load on my aging MacBook Pro 13 2015. You can tell it's really optimised. What I like about it is that I can easily add and animate my SVG files, for example, to create a simple preloader animation on my web page. It has all the basic tools you want, like transform and scale. With some creativity, you can actually make a 2d motion graphics out of it. I don't use AE for complex stuff, this is fantastic enough for me. It also exports code that you can actually use. This is really a good software if you know what you're doing. The tutorials are good; I hope they will continue to add more. Here's hoping to see they will add more features in the future. With Figma, Affinity, and now Flow, it’s all I will ever need for my work-flow & case scenario.
