I am a graphic designer but don't use After Effects a ton so every time I need to use it, it takes me a while to re-familiarize myself with the program. It's a waste of time for me to go through all of that just to create a quick animation, so I've been using generic stock animations (which is not ideal) when possible to save time/sanity.

I used Flow immediately upon purchase to create a simple animation to drop into a client video and it took me so much less time than it would have taken me with AE. I did have to watch like 2 videos just to figure out the basics, but the videos are short and super easy to follow. I plan to go through all of their tutorials because I'm excited to be able to use this to it's full potential. I'll probably update my review after I use it a little more because there were some things that I wanted to be able to do and couldn't, I just don't know yet if those features don't exist or I just didn't know how to do them.

Pros:
-Well thought out
-Clean platform, runs smoothly
-Much faster than After Effects & consumes fewer resources
-Tutorials are great
-Support is quick to respond
-Mac only 😜(jk, kinda)

Cons:
-Plan doesn't include gifs with alpha (transparent bg) ☹️
-Slight learning curve (but less than AE and the tutorials are really good)
-No option for pro upgrade, even at a discounted monthly rate (I don't think?)
-No integration with Adobe XD ☹️☹️☹️ (you can export SVG from XD and import the SVG into flow, but strokes don't transfer over for some reason)

Overall I would say it's 1000000% worth purchasing if you do any web design / graphic design / video creation. Also good for creating animations you can use in several previous LTDs that were for video editing or creating animated social posts.
