Like some others who are reviewing Flow, I am not an animator, but have been tempted to try my hand at it by the appearance of this app on AppSumo. After playing with its demo file, watching some of the onboarding videos, and following a couple tutorials, I know I have made a good choice, and am excited about the new possibilities presented by this app.

The team should get an award for the creative care given to the onboarding and tutorials. They are engaging and informative, and actually entertaining! Like any serious tool, there is some depth to the (well-designed) interface, requiring exploration and play.

Looking towards quick results, the integration with Sketch and Figma means I can take advantage of elements and templates available for those formats, and set them in motion in Flow.

They obviously have big future plans for Flow, and I hope that many of the items listed on their roadmap will be available to purchasers of this deal. But as it is, it is well worth getting.
