Q: Is a fully managed, AI-built backend with database and hosting on your roadmap, including for AppSumo LTD users?
Your documentation explains how FluxNative integrates with Supabase, Firebase and external APIs, but these require separate backend infrastructure and potentially additional hosting costs.
Are you planning to introduce a fully managed, integrated backend with database hosting, authentication, file storage, real-time messaging, server functions and automated scaling?
For complex production apps, such as social networks, marketplaces or delivery platforms, will FluxNative's AI be able to build, deploy, secure, maintain and scale the entire backend, rather than just configure third-party integrations?
If this is on your roadmap, what is the expected timeline? Would it be included in existing AppSumo lifetime plans, or require additional subscriptions or usage-based payments?
Need to know for more stack or not.
Thanks,
Marcus

Oct 30, 2026A: Hi Marcus, thanks for the detailed question!
To give it to you straight: a fully managed backend hosting service isn't on our roadmap. Continuous infrastructure costs aren't sustainable for a lifetime deal.
Additionally, hosting user databases involves navigating strict regional data privacy laws (like GDPR in Europe). It is much safer and more compliant for you to own and control your data infrastructure directly.
While we won't host your backend, our AI will help you build it by generating the database schemas and API logic. For your tech stack, we highly recommend starting with the free tiers of Supabase or Cloudflare. They are more than enough for small to medium apps during an initial launch. As your user base grows, having your database on a dedicated hosting provider makes it much easier to scale, secure, and maintain complex production apps.
Hope this helps you plan your stack! Let me know if you need anything else.
Best,
Andy

Hi Andy, thanks for the advice!
Is it possible to build this as a hybrid app (like Flutter or React Native) for both iOS and Android instead of native?
Does your AI support generating UI code and integration logic for hybrid frameworks, or is it strictly optimized for native Swift/Kotlin?
FluxNative uses React Native and native component, but if you prefer Flutter, check out FluxBuilder https://fluxbuilder.com

Could you please add BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) and MCP (Model Context Protocol) as well? Also, I assume that the full templates you created, even the smallest one, exceed the 2,500 one-time starter credits, correct?
Yes, MCP is fully supported (docs: https://fluxnative.app/docs/remote-mcp). You can also use the CLI with your Claude or Codex subscription via our desktop app (https://fluxnative.app/download).
As a launch bonus for active contributors and first buyer, we'd love to offer you 10,000 extra credits — just log in and purchase a Tier to claim them!

Hi, great, I already purchased Tier 2, so appreciate the if you can add the 10,000 extra credits. I send you an email.
