The question was/is: I find it weird that the 5 last reviews (5 over 6 reviews...and all 5 stars) given for your plugin/this deal, were given by people who bought...only this plugin (they all have 1 deal on record, just this one)...one of them even have an italian name and you just said you're an italian company...(oh you said your company as 6 people including you, which leaves 5 employees...)
Anything to comment about that? Did you try to manipulate the reviews on this deal by asking directly or indirectly to people you know and/or work for you, to buy the plugin (money will go back and your pocket anyway) in order for them to leave 5 stars reviews and therefore totally biased/non genuine reviews?

May 14, 2024A: Hi bigdreamstheory, thank you for the comment. I'm sorry to see you so heated about this issue. We are not trying to manipulate anyone or anything. We are an Italian company, and naturally, there are Italian customers among those who purchase the plugin. We don't force anyone to buy or leave reviews. It is common for us to spread the word among people who know us here in Italy, and we are thrilled that we have been able to bring our plugin to AppSumo, a well-known and important platform.
That being said, all we do is kindly ask our customers/users to leave a review for our product, and we believe this is a legitimate request. We have no way of knowing whether those who leave reviews or purchase the product have bought 1 or 100 products on AppSumo. With that said, I would like to know if you have purchased the plugin, if you liked it, and if you have any positive or negative feedback about our product.
So far, you have solely focused on trying to portray us in a negative light, and we don't understand why. Thank you very much, and if you have any questions about the product, feel free to write to us here or privately.

edit: sorry, I said "one of them" has even an italian name and you said your comapny is italian/based in Italy, my mistake it's actually ALL of the 5 stars reviews and "incredible" comments given to your plugin from people who bought this deal/plugin only, were given by people with italian names...
There's really no need to be on the defensive if you have nothing to hide you know, that make things even more suspicious actually.
You must understand that as a potential CUSTOMER, asking questions and making a purchase decision is based on the answers received, it is part of the process...and that one ask questions based on either doubts about how something works, info missing, or concerns etc., well, everybody does the same.
If you saw a product with an almost empty website, no demo no nothing besides some images + that you could easily understand 90% of the products reviews given were fake/given by people that the author either know personally and to whom he asked to do that or probably even his employees (5 employees in Italy and by magic 5 5 stars reviews given by 5 people with Italian names... who have purchased this deal only), which is a shady practice in itself + when you asked about that the first time the person you asked that too ignored your question and closed the conversation, wouldn't you feel concerned or worried to give that person your hard earned money and about the present and future of the product? Or would you purchase that product without hesitation despite all the red flags without even asking questions about what you are concerned about in order to not hurt the other's feelings?
If red flags are no concerns for you when making a purchase decision, it is for 99% of people, I'm sorry to disappoint you.
Good luck with your sales, too many red flags for me to take the risk.
