Q: If we don't already have Elementor in our WordPress site, do we need to purchase the paid subscription to it first?
Or is fluXtore all I need as a page builder?

If you have the pro you can surely edit your funnels for the better but it's not required.
We are soon going to release an update to work also with Gutenberg.
