Which mean using wpfly i can integrate with digital oceon and become a hosting reseller? I mean sell the hosting service to those people build the wordpress?
Yes, using FlyWP, you can integrate with DigitalOcean to become a hosting reseller. This allows you to offer managed WordPress hosting services to your clients. FlyWP handles the technical aspects, while you can customize hosting plans, set your pricing, and manage client sites under one account. It's a great way to expand your service offerings and provide reliable, scalable hosting solutions.
Yes, team members have specific roles to follow. The Admin role has the authority to carry out any actions, with the exception of billing management, which is reserved for the Owner. The Server Admin can manage existing servers and sites, but cannot create a server. Lastly, the Site Admin has the authority to manage, create, update, and delete sites. Member/ team will work on the same server and sites the owner created depending on the role he/she was assigned to. You can create a server and assign only one team member also more of them if needed. Appreciate your response and cooperation.
FlyWP offers Redis caching but varnish is unavailable for now. For Redis caching, you can check this doc: https://flywp.com/features/redis-caching/
Additonally, the maximum support you need to get rid of the issue with FlyWP, we offer that much. Even, if you might be facing issues for your provider side, we will help you find that.
We are here to help and will be available on any issues. You can try and I belive you will love FlyWP.
Q: Sorry, but I have not advanced knowledge on this.
Can you please indicate how the number of servers can affect the performance of website contained on them? Can you give an estimation of how many websites of, for example 2GB size, is able to admit each server? Thank you.
A: Hello Megatester, A server with 2GB of storage theoretically can host up to 2-4 websites, with practical limits likely lower due to factors like backup needs, operating system overhead, and other software requirements. The specific number of websites a server can accommodate also depends on its hardware specifications, network bandwidth, and the nature of the website's content and traffic.
A: Hello Vipin-Chauhan, FlyWP streamlines application deployment and management using Docker containers, potentially simplifying your workflow compared to traditional WHM server management. Your server just has to be a VPS/ Cloud server to be managed by FlyWP. Thanks and have a blast!
Q: 1 - License Tier 1 includes "Site Backup" and "Invite Team Members"?
2 - Does it support Contabo & Oracle Cloud Server? 3 - What is meant by "1 Server" and "10 Servers"? 4 - Is backup support available for my own Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive additionally? 5 - Can I deploy a Node.js app from GitHub?
A: Hello Ajmfarlish, 1 - I'm afraid not. Tier 1 includes 1 server and Unlimited Sites including other features which is applicable for all tiers. The Site Backup feature comes with Tier 2 and Bring Your Team features come from Tier 4. 2 - If you use Contabo, and Oracle Cloud server/ VPS then yes, it will be supported by FlyWP. 3 - 1 server means you can add 1 server with FlyWP at a time. And 10 servers means 10 servers can be added. 4 - Site Backup features is applicable for your Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, Cloudflare R2, Wasabi, Google Cloud Storage, and Custom (S3 Compatible) providers. 5 - You can now deploy your GitHub repositories directly to FlyWP servers. This feature eliminates the need for manual file transfers or complex deployment processes.
A: Hello Megatester, If your free trial includes the Amazon EC2(12 months free) server, then you can use it with FlyWP. Thanks for reaching out and have a good day.
Q: I currently have a Wordpress Site running on Amazon EC2 and I am looking to migrate or use FlyWP to manage this and future WP sites.
I have 3 basic questions:
1) Migration - is FlyWP able to "take over" existing sites in Amazon EC2? or do I have to create a fresh new site via FlyWP and manually migrate via plugin? Which migration plugin do you recommend?
2) Caching - On your website you have 3 different levels of caching: Redis Cache, Fast CGI Cache, and Cache Plugin. Not sure if I can activate ALL 3? If so, which Cache Plugin do you recommend? I am currently using LiteSpeed cache plugin but need more speed for Mobile. PageSpeed is only 40 at best.
3) Server scaling - when my sites grow I need to bump up the CPU and storage or even move a site to its own server. I looked at your videos and sample screens but the info do not seem to address scaling (or did I miss it?) Can I at least change the number of CPU's, the RAM and storage space on the fly like I can do on other platforms and still keep my Wordpress instance intact?
1. Yes, FlyWP can "take over" existing sites hosted on Amazon EC2. You don't necessarily have to create a fresh new site via FlyWP and manually migrate. You can use a migration plugin to facilitate the process. We recommend using the "All-in-One WP Migration" plugin or "Duplicator" for a seamless migration experience. These plugins are user-friendly and reliable for transferring your entire WordPress site, including the database and media files, to FlyWP.
2. FlyWP supports multiple levels of caching to enhance your website's performance. You can indeed activate all three caching mechanisms: Redis Cache, Fast CGI Cache, and a Cache Plugin.
3. FlyWP does support server scaling to accommodate the growth of your websites. You can adjust the number of CPUs, RAM, and storage space on the fly. This flexibility allows you to scale resources without impacting your WordPress instance's integrity.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance with the migration and setup process. We're here to help you make the most of FlyWP's features and optimize your WordPress sites.
A: Hello Orestis, FlyWP runs on Linux and currently does not support iOS. Connecting to a Mac Stadium machine, like a Mac mini M1, is not possible with the current setup. Hello antonmarklund, FlyWP works with any custom server that has VPS/ Cloud service. So if netcup can provide VPS or Cloud server, then surely it can be managed via FlyWP. Choosing between hosting providers like Hetzner and netcup depends on your specific needs and preferences. Both are reputable providers, but they offer different features and advantages.
